Unveiling of the Macness Reviews Team!

Introduction

After much work in trying to start Macness’ own specialised team to produce something of our very own, to further help the Singapore Management University (SMU) Mac Users community, we have finally found a Reviews Team! (: Our goal is not to promote the purchase of Macs or other Apple products but really to educate Mac users in SMU how to more effectively use their pretty Apple products.

This author laments the general lack of interest and ability of the average Mac user in SMU and hopes that this first step Macness embarks upon to educate him/her will prove useful. With hope, it’d inspire him to be a more informed consumer who will be interested in finding out more about his powerful machines and other ways of using them. Or well, at the very least, be a more effective Mac user. (:

The first article will be a review on the Microsoft Office 2011 Outlook and Excel for Mac applications, particularly in relation to SMU’s exchange 2007 email platform and for the module Computer as an Analysis Tool (CAT), written by Toh Wei Zheng.

We hope you’ll enjoy reading and learning from the articles as much as we enjoyed writing them.
